Apply for editor access

Editor access is granted on application to editors-in-chief and handling editors of peer-reviewed medical journals. Applications are assessed by Peerclave and normally answered within ten working days.

What is required

Applications are checked against the journal's public record, so give the title exactly as it is published.

Journal: Title, ISSN, and publisher or owning society.
Your role: Editorial position at the journal and how long you have held it.
Contact: An email address at the journal's or institution's domain.
Scope: The subspecialties in which you expect to request reviews.

Submitted applications are read by Peerclave. They are not shared with reviewers or with other journals.

How applications are assessed

An application is assessed on whether the journal is a recognised peer-reviewed publication with an established editorial process, and on whether the applicant holds the editorial role stated. Peerclave may ask for confirmation from the publisher or owning society before granting access.
